For over a decade, I’ve worked with thousands of bodies and minds. Some people come to see me because something in their body hurts. Some because their life is hurting. But most come in and kill two birds with one stone. Bodies and the way we think about things are often more connected than people realise.
A sore shoulder. A tight hip. A back that’s not quite right. A body that feels restricted or tired. Releasing muscular tension can change the way a body moves, rests, and functions. That’s one part of what happens here.
The other part is the human being attached to the body.
After fifty-one years on this planet and more than a decade working closely with people, I’ve learned that when the body starts to relax, people often start talking. Not because they have to, but because something softens.
Sometimes it’s stress. Sometimes it’s pressure. Sometimes it’s a situation they’ve been turning over in their mind. When that happens, I’m very comfortable facilitating that conversation too. Often it only takes a different question or a new way of looking at something for things to shift. So while the body is releasing tension, the mind often releases a bit as well.
People regularly walk out moving more comfortably in their body and feeling more relaxed in their life. P.S. You don’t have to unpack anything if you don’t want to. You can choose to be quiet, relax, and simply enjoy the muscle release.

The Emmett Technique is a remarkable form of body therapy that uses gentle finger pressure at specific points on the body. These sequences activate precise releases in muscles and fascia—alleviating pain, easing discomfort, improving movement and flexibility, and supporting the body’s natural balance (homeostasis).
What makes it so fascinating is that it aligns with the science of Critical Point Analysis—the understanding that in any complex system, there are key points where the smallest input can create the greatest shift. A light touch in just the right place? It can interrupt dysfunction, dissolve tension, and activate a whole-body reset—like pressing pause on pain and play on possibility.
I began my journey with the Emmett Technique in 2011. Since then, I’ve been privileged to witness transformations that words can barely capture. And honestly? This technique makes me look like a bloody miracle worker—teeeeheheee!
I blend Emmett Technique corrections with deep relaxation, years of intuitive awareness, and everything I’ve gathered from years of touching bodies and listening to what they truly need. My clinic isn’t just where pain ends—it’s where people reconnect to ease, possibility, and their body’s own quiet brilliance.
